Branding and Design
Over the last four years, Today is Possible (TIP) has slowly evolved into what it is today. During that time, there has never been an 'official' logo or creative art that establishes my mission. When you think about some of the best-known, global brands, there is subtle messaging behind each. For Apple, one would argue there is a message of innovation; Nike sends this notion of pushing your limits; Facebook the idea of expressing yourself. Now, I'm fairly certain TIP won't achieve the accolades of these global brands, nor have the brand recognition. However, TIP strives to create consistency. It is important to establish a message that is recognized regardless of where it is read or viewed in this world. Currently, TIP has readers from more than 100 countries, and is focused delivering it's messaging, thoughts, and ideas, in a consistent manner.
Mountain logo
As mentioned before, a mountain can be seen as an obstacle in the way, or an opportunity to achieve new heights. In this logo, the lines over top of the mountain represent the 'view from the top'. This vantage point means that the hardest part is behind you and easier days to come. The circle around the mountain represents a day. Just because you overcome one mountain today, doesn't mean that tomorrow won't bring another. Focus on the mountains today, and worry about tomorrow's mountains, tomorrow.
Today is possible
Your success in life isn't found in yesterday's disappointments, nor is success found in tomorrow's unforeseen events. Success, to me, is defined by whether or not you did the best you could, with the people in your life, today. In this design, the word 'possible' isn't completely filled in with color. That is because the word possible doesn't mean certain. However, it does mean that there might be challenges and gaps to be filled. With the right tools, there are opportunities in today.
